How to install the webmail desktop app on Windows

1. Download the installerFrom the download page. The file is about 102 MB.
2. Run itOpen the file from your browser's downloads or the Downloads folder.
3. SmartScreen: More info, Run anywayWindows shows a blue box for programs it has not seen often. Click More info, check the app name, then Run anyway.
4. Choose where to installKeep the suggested folder or pick another, keep Create desktop shortcut, click Install.
5. Sign inECOMHUTSY Webmail opens. Enter your email address and its password.

Is the SmartScreen notice a problem?

No. SmartScreen judges programs by how often it has seen them, not by what they do. New and independent apps show the notice until enough people install them. To be sure the file is genuine, compare its SHA-256 with the value on the download page.

After installing

• Pin it: right-click the app in the taskbar, then Pin to taskbar.
• Tray: closing the window keeps the app in the tray so notifications keep coming. Quit it from the tray icon.
• Notifications: allow them in Windows Settings, System, Notifications, if they do not appear.

Uninstall

Settings, Apps, Installed apps, ECOMHUTSY Webmail, Uninstall. Everything it saved on the PC is removed.
