Desktop email notifications on Windows

1. In the appSettings, Notifications: turn on System notifications, New mail popups and Notification sound, and pick a sound.
2. In WindowsSettings, System, Notifications: make sure notifications are on and ECOMHUTSY Webmail is allowed.
3. Keep it in the trayClosing the window keeps the app running in the tray, so notifications continue.
4. Check Do Not DisturbIf Do Not Disturb or Focus is on, notifications wait in the notification centre.

How fast are notifications?

ECOMHUTSY Webmail 1.2.5 keeps a live (IMAP IDLE) connection to each mail server, so new email typically appears within a few seconds.

Still nothing?

• Restart the app from the tray.
• Check that the mailbox shows no warning (password changed?).
• Make sure the PC is not in battery saver, which can delay background apps.
